Sex stereotyping is a difficult topic. Most mammals will attempt to replicate the behavior of their parent. What if a girl spends more time with their dad, who does stereotypical male activities, and ends up behaving more like their dad? Or, visa-versa? Does it HAVE to be a problem? Maybe, it depends. Is the behavior or activities toxic to the individual’s well-being or the well-being of others? What is important is to consider one’s own motives and cultural conditioning when addressing another individual. Attempts to force an individual into your own standards of what a male, female or another individual should be is abusive.
